ZipitForge is up!

Zipit Wireless released a new handheld instant messenger thingy a few months back. While I probably don’t want it so much for IM, it is a really cool little linux platform. Color screen, wifi, keyboard, miniSD slot, and enough power to play back MP3s and such. Very neat.

Zipit claimed that they would be supporting the “hacking community” more with the Z2 release. Well, that time is here, and the beginnings of “openness” can be found on ZipitForge, which is a Trac system.

Guess I need to go buy one now. $149 ain’t too bad.
