Fake Steve Jobs, you are awesome
Okay, I admit it. I didn’t really read much FSJ (that’s Fake Steve Jobs) before. I glanced at it once a ways back and remember thinking, when looking at the web page, “wow, some of these are pretty long.” Just didn’t cross that threshold. But then, reading TUAW (The Unofficial Apple Weblog) a bit, I came across more FSJ posts that were pretty damned funny. Got me hooked.
Fast forward to a couple days ago, post the “outing” of FSJ as some actually real writer dude, I found myself perusing FSJ’s blog again. I’m uncovering some real gems in the huge archives. Take for instance his tirade against the Yelp.com people.
- Hey, Jeremy Levine at Bessemer Venture Partners, here’s your money at work
- That Yelp party again
- Yelp party, part 3
Yikes. That is some mean writing there. He really takes it out on these poor people. He is rude, crude, and generally very crass. I’d like to think of myself as not finding that much humor in this trash talking, but wow, I was laughing. I especially enjoy the pokes, rebuttals, and subsequent fetish with Bike Helmet Girl.
Oh FSJ, you crack me up. Who knew being a suit at Forbes could be so good?
