MIT/Olin in to next phase of DARPA Grand Challenge

DARPA made the announcement at around 11:30am today, and it looks like the MIT/Olin team is in to the semi finals! (Press release [PDF]) That means we get to go out to the former George AFB in Victorville, CA, on October 26-31, 2007, for the final qualification event.

The actual race is in the same place on November 3, 2007. I hope to be out there as a spectator.

A big “great job” to all the students, faculty, and staff that working on this cool project.
