All kinds of awesome, Filipino inmates rock out

Every day I find another thing that makes me wonder how we survived before video cameras, the internet, and youtube. Was life just less interesting? Must have been.
Today, that little slice of heaven comes via BoingBoing. It is a video (natch, one of many) of prison inmates at the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center in the Phillippines reenacting the classic Michael Jackson “Thriller” video. En masse.
Rock. Out. And guys, when you get a chance, why not do some “Buffy“?

That video has layers of “WTF” on top of layers of “WTF”. I can’t believe that so many people in one detention center all get coordinated (figuratively and literally) like that. I guess if you are “detained”, it’s not a bad way to spend some of your time.
