Facebook gets even crazier

Oh my. Looks like Facebook hasn’t been in the news enough recently for their liking. Firing up the rumor mill and see what slithers out the other end? Yahoo ‘to buy Facebook for $1bn’.

Yowsahs. Remember when Businessweek reported that Facebook turned down a $750M deal in favor of something along the $2B deal? Yeah. I remember that too. Do you also remember that every blogger (including me) copied that link and expounded on it?

Then there was that immediate backlash saying that it was a ploy engineered by FaceBook themselves? That was interesting, too.

Now, somehow, we’ve got Yahoo! at the bidding table with $1B a mere 6 months later. That’s some serious growth for FaceBook. Adda-boy!
