Apple Going Postal?

I was talking with a friend about the accuracy of the fab scenes in Apple’s new Intel ad [QuickTime needed] (okay, geek foul, I know), which of course, led me to a Google search. Three hits down and lookie-here! Apple rips off the Postal Service video for “Such Great Heights”? Oh, I love it. Does this company love to leverage “what’s hot” or what?!? What’s next? Paris Hilton in an iPod commercial?

Personally, I dig the Iron & Wine version found on the “better-selling-than-the-movie” soundtrack to Garden State.

At least they could have played the damn song in the background of the ad.
